How Do I Organize My Cooking Utensils?

I've shared before my dislike when the drawer gets stuck mid-cooking so naturally that comes to mind with this commonly asked question.  The how to behind organizing any space comes down to knowing your personal organizing style.  Our kitchen is a shared space so we've setup some compromises in the area that work for the whole home team.  

The kitchen is a very non-visual space for me personally so having a container on the counter didn't last long.  Yeah, I think the white ceramic containers are adorable and  it would be perfect for the visual macro organizer in the house but it came down to seeing too much on the countertop all the time was simply too much for me. As a compromise, we've dedicated the drawer to the left of the stove for cooking utensils.  There are no extra containers inside so it's macro setup and visual within.  You open it up and everything is just there!  

I've seen options from countertop containers to hanging hooks and am sure there is a right setup for you,  we just have to figure it out.  

Be sure to be open to the ideal of adjusting throughout the seasons of life. I'm mentally pre-planning dividers and labels for my future cooking utensil drawer but am thrilled with the whole family maintaining the space currently so I'm waiting patiently for possibilities.
