Blankets and throw pillows are meant to add warmth and comfort — but too many of them? Suddenly your living room feels more chaotic than cozy.

This reset is simple, satisfying, and only takes 15 minutes.

Here’s how to simplify your pillows and throws:

1. Gather it all.

Collect every throw pillow and blanket from the couch, chairs, baskets, and floors. Put them in one place so you can see exactly what you have.

2. Let go of what you don’t use.

Are the pillows still fluffy? Do the blankets get used — or just take up space? Donate the ones that are scratchy, outdated, or never used.

3. Choose your favorites.

Pick 2–3 throw pillows per seating area. Keep 1–2 blankets accessible for cozy evenings. Less is truly more here.

4. Contain what stays.

Use a basket, trunk, or ottoman with storage to hold extra blankets. Pillows can be stacked neatly or swapped seasonally.

🛋 Your space now feels less cluttered and more comfortable — just how a living room should feel.
