The 15-Minute Under-the-Sink Reset Your Kitchen Needs

Updated: Aug 9

Bright kitchen with white cabinets, beige tiled counters, stove, and sink. Windows let in natural light. Potted plant and towels add color.
A bright and tidy kitchen featuring white cabinets, beige-tiled counters, a farmhouse sink, and a gas stove. A green plant adds a touch of nature next to a kettle on the counter, creating an inviting atmosphere.

It’s dark. It’s cluttered. It might even be a little leaky.

The space under your kitchen sink tends to be where half-used cleaners, grocery bags, and forgotten supplies go to disappear. But a quick 15-minute reset can transform this space from chaotic to clean.

Let’s simplify:

1. Pull everything out.

All of it. You can’t organize around the clutter — you need a clear view of what’s in there.

2. Toss the trash.

Empty bottles? Toss them. Duplicate products? Combine or donate them. Extra sponges from 2009? Goodbye.

3. Group by use.

Make piles: cleaning sprays, dish tools, trash bags, backups. Decide what you actually need accessible here.

4. Add containers.

Use bins, baskets, or even shoeboxes to group similar items. A small tension rod is great for hanging spray bottles.

🧽 A quick reset here helps every cleaning task feel easier.

And now? You’ll never avoid opening that cabinet again.
