Turning Chores into Team Routines: A Guide to Effortless Home Management
Small details can add up. Sometimes they accumulate gradually, while other times they can suddenly overwhelm us. By leading an organized lifestyle, you'll experience various changes. In this blog, we'll explore the transition to Home Team management and adopting habits instead of chores.
Let's be honest, it happens. Someone finishes the toilet paper roll and doesn't replace it. Then, your next visit turns into an instant 'chore.' Have you ever thought or even exclaimed, 'Why am I the only one who does this?!?!??!' as you grudgingly grab a new roll from storage, swap it out, and finish the 'chore'?
I'm raising my hand!
Here's the conversation starter, Hopefuls! I expressed my confusion and simply asked my family to handle it. This discussion revealed that we just have different habits. I discovered the roll was left empty for a few reasons: 1) they didn't know where the new rolls were stored 2) they didn't realize it was a source of frustration 3) they were afraid of doing it 'wrong,' so they avoided it. Ultimately, I just asked them to make an effort to participate in this 'small task.' Behold, a shift to team management and reduced stress for one person. Transitioning to team management establishes a habit for the entire home team, relieving one manager of a 'chore' item.
What are the 'small things' you'd like to change in your Hopeful lifestyle? We can help you start these conversations and live more in the moment.
